Prof. Dr. Gökhan Meriç was born in July 1980 and graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. In 2010, he completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Dokuz Eylül University. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Meriç has extensive international experience. In 2013, he participated in surgical observations on shoulder and knee surgery at Scripps Clinic and Tri-City Hospital in San Diego, USA. In 2014, he worked as a research fellow at Scripps Clinic and Shiley Center in San Diego, USA, focusing on cartilage surgery and cartilage transplantation.
